WordPress is a free and open-source content management system based on PHP and MySQL.

Data integration: Skyvia supports importing data to and from WordPress, exporting WordPress data to CSV files, replicating WordPress data to relational databases, and synchronizing WordPress data with other cloud apps and relational databases.

Backup: Skyvia Backup supports WordPress backup.

Query: Skyvia Query supports WordPress.

Requirements

Skyvia requires the Basic-Auth plugin to be installed on your WordPress in order to connect to it.

WordPress-Specific Features and Limitations

Skyvia does not support custom fields in the default WordPress connector.

WordPress Connections

To connect to WordPress, you need to specify the domain to connect to and the user email and password to log in with.

You need to specify the following parameters for WordPress connection:

  • Domain — domain where WordPress is running.
  • User — user account name or email to log in with.
  • Password — a WordPress application password. Note that this is not a password to your WordPress account. See this WordPress post about application passwords and how to generate them.
